Krash Kids

Meeting on a Friday evening, 6.30 - 7.45 pm, at Kirkheaton Parish Centre this - as the name suggests - is a fun and active group.

Energetic games, stories, fun activities and crafts all combine for a great evening that will introduce the children to the Christian faith and build them up in it.

Sunday Club

Both our churches ensure that children's needs are met, both within worship and their own, age specific groups.

At Kirkheaton the children meet in their own groups during the 10.30 am service every Sunday (apart from the first, when the whole service is aimed at families). On other Sundays children will usually start in the service before moving into their own groups for worship, stories and activities. These include a monthly 'Godly Play' session, a great way to tell Bible stories and then encourage children to respond to them.

Children are often involved during the Family Service , especially in a dedicated 'Family Service Band' where anyone with any level of musical ability is welcome to take part in leading our worship. Children are also encouraged to take part in readings, prayers and drama.

At Grange Moor, where numbers are much smaller, children remain in worship with craft activities.
