Wardens & Church Council

Churchwardens are those who are legally responsible for all that goes on in the parish. They are elected annually from among the congregation. There are six Wardens for Kirkheaton church and two for Grange Moor (there are usually only two per church. As far as we know Kirkheaton is unique in having six, due to particular historic circumstances).

The Parochial Church Council (PCC) is the decision-making body of the church and works with the Rector and other staff in planning ministry and worship in both churches. They are also elected annually.

To get in touch with any of the Wardens or the PCC Secretary please contact the Parish office.
